News from the States: Brian Flanagan had his opening run of the indoor season for McNeese at the Samford Open, Birmingham, Alabama where he was 4th in the 3000 in 8.40.93. Aaron Hanlon was 6th in the Valentine Invitational also over 3000 in 8.28.89.
In England Eoin Pierce won the mile indoors at the Soar Open, Lee Valley on February 7th in 4.11.78, a winning margin of some 7 seconds. Also over the water, this time on the country, Jayme Rossister won the Birmingham League XC race in Wolverhampton in a sprint finish on Saturday, the 10th.
