Weekend catch up: 4 mile road races

By coincidence the two big road races over the weekend were both 4 milers. On Saturday the first BHAA Road Race of the season took place in St. Anne`s Park Raheny, the Dublin City Council Road Race. There were a number of Clonliffe athletes in this one, as always it`s difficult to spot them from the BHAA results (once again please guys will someone at these races not gather up the Clonliffe results and send them to me….I`m like the lone voice crying in the wilderness here!!), but looks like: 4th Tom Sherlock 22.13, 8th David Byrne 22.53, 10th Sean Doran 23.03, 15th Ernie Ramsey 23.53, 29th Jeremy Chapman 24.47, 30th Kiernan Murphy 24.50, Maurice McCrohan 26.16 (all are on www.bhaa.ie)

Sunday and 4 mile actions moves to Dunboyne for the Eirgrid 4 Mile, Mark Kenneally was 2nd behind Mullingar`s Mark Christie in 19.27, 27th Sean Doran (again) 22.18 and 119th Alan Worrall 26.31.
