In the USA Davey Davitt ran a 400 hurdles PB of 53.20 as he took 1st place at the Westchester County Championships. (This may also be a Clonliffe club Junior Record).
The May Open meet, sprints/hurdles/field events in Morton Stadium yesterday had Clonliffe interest. Brian Gregan was 3rd in the 400 (48.19). In the 100 Chris Sibanda was 1st in his race in series 1 (10.67) and in series 2 ran 10.56 to take 4th place. Keith Pike was 2nd in his race in series 1 (10.95) and in series 2 ran 10.83. Thomas Morgan clocked 12.27 and 12.28. Snezana Bechtina in series 1 of the 100 ran 13.37 and in series 2 went faster clocking 13.28, Snezana was also in the 200 where she ran 26.39 for 3rd. Jean Fearon ran 14.10 and 14.14 over 100.
