Saturday: Phoenix Park, on a particularly muddy tough course at the Magazine Fort, Sean Doran ran possibly his best race to date finishing in an excellent 3rd place in the BHAA Garda 4 Mile XC. Thomas Sherlock placed 8th.
Also on Saturday Declan Power was 3rd in the Rathcoffey 10K in County Kildare in 33.57.
Saturday the 3rd, the 9th annual Dylan Ahern Memorial 5,000m XC race took place on the Castle field course at Malahide – 1st Colm Hickey 18-21 (fastest time)-2nd Aimee Ahern 21-32 (fastest woman ) — 3rd Liam Hennessy (nett 21-51)– 43 runners including racing come backs by Pat Byrne, Eugene Mc Carrick, Mick Kearney and Bernie Byrne-the race was supported by a large number of the Ahern family and friends .
