An incredibly busy weekend all round. In addition to the action in Portugal, Abbotstown for Indoor Games and the cross country in Dundalk Clonliffe athletes took in races around the country. David Flynn after his brilliant half marathon pb last weekend ran 49.53 in yesterday’s John Treacy 10 mile in Dungarven placing 2nd.
Also over 10 mile in Trim yesterday: Mick Bermingham 67.09, Mary Ketterer 72.28, Anne Lyons 77.01, Jason Blake 78.20, Imelda Kavanagh 84.37, Evelyn Brennan 81.03.
On Saturday in the BHAA cross country Sean Doran warmed up for the following day’s National Intermediates with a 4th place 22.11 with Thomas Sherlock 5th 22.19.
