Weekend round up (updated)

Friday 14th: In the US Tom Pitkin, more renowned as a 400/400H, won the 600 at the Jim Green Invitational Indoors in Lexington in 1.18.88. The previous week Tom ran 1.56.12 over 800 in West Lafayette.

Saturday: Leo Morgan was in action at the ANI Indoor Sprints Meet in Jordanstown finishing 4th in the 60 final in 6.94.

There was a big group at the Donadea Forest Half Marathon where Anthony Doran won the 2nd race in 1:23.46. Others: 10th Mick Bermingham (1.32.05), 11th Mick Gleeson (1:32.06), 29th Declan Grant (1:41.08), 30th Alan Hughes (1:41.12), 32nd Shane Rooney (1:41.47), 34th Ollie Power (1:42.34), 43rd Dave Comiskey (1:46.18). Joseph Fowler 1:58.51).

Also the BHAA Cross Country season resumed with the Bank of Ireland 6k, a bit hard to spot the Clonliffe athletes on the results but it looks like Dave Brady was the first home in 23rd (22.57). Results are on bhaa.ie

Sunday: Tudor Moldovan was 3rd in the Tom Walsh 10k in Caherconlish, co. Limerick in 30.59.
