Whilst most of the weekend’s focus was on the National League final and the National juveniles track & field there were other Clonliffe athletes competing elsewhere. Pride of place goes to Edel Maguire who ran an Irish Master’s record for 400 of 68.84 in Derby at the British Masters Championships on Saturday.
At home Sean Doran was 3rd in Sunday’s Duleek 10k in 33.46 with Garret Loy 9th (37.50).
Lee Maginnis was 23rd in the Rossi 5k in Rostrevor, Co. Down in 19.23.
