Saturday and Gary O`Hanlon is finally back racing. Gary was 3rd in the Achill Half Marathon in 1:17.36. In the 10k in Achill Conor Healy was 2nd (34.48). Also at the National Junior track & field in Tullamore Josh Stubbs was 1st in his 1500 (4.08.36) and 10th over all on time. In the junior 800 Greg Hosseny went out in the semis after a 2.05.74 run. Emer Treacy was 4th in the U/23 800 in 2.27.80.
Other results from Field Events at the National Under 23’s in Tullamore: Simon Galligan won the under 23 Hammer with throw of 57.26 m and Andrii Mahin won the under 23 Triple jump with a jump of 13.83 m.
Also Rory Gunning threw 60.72 m in the Div 2 of the British League for Kent to win the javelin in Kingston Upon Thames on Saturday.
Mid week, June 30th Declan Power 4th and 1st O/45 in the St. Coacas 10k in Kildare in 33.14.
