It’s looking like a busy enough weekend on the roads for the club’s athletes. Friday the Tara 5k took place where, surprise surprise, Sean Doran lined up and took 2nd place in 15.29. Garrett Loy was 22nd in 18.27.
Saturday in the Waterford Greenway Half Marathon Ben Nugent finished in 8th place, 1:17.42 with Pat O’Grady 9th (1:18.17)
Also on Saturday in Tullamore’s Half Marathon: Terrence Neary (1:27.36), Carl Flemming (1:34.33), Niall English (1:36.11), Diarmuid Doyle (1:42.20), Jean Carr (1:43.40), Eoin Rafter (1:44.16).
