This weekend on the roads Gary O` Hanlon took in the Dingle Marathon on Saturday the 6th, where he recorded a good win on a tough course in a time of 2.29.59, in what was his 10th marathon of the year !!.
In the Lakes 10k also on Saturday Anthony Flannery was 12th in a time of 35.57.
Meanwhile the track season came to an end over the weekend with two of the club`s top athletes in action. On Saturday Sara McCormack ran her first track race in some time at the BMC 10,000 Festival in Stretford. Sara recorded a time of 33.38.20 as 1st woman and 9th overall in a mixed race. Sara`s time was a new PB.
In Italy Brian Gregan ran his 2nd race of the week yesterday in Rieti becoming the 2nd fastest Irishman over 300m as he recorded a time of 32.85 (PB). Earlier in the week (Sept. 2nd) Brian ran 46.48 over 400 in Rovereto.
