At Saturday`s Greystones AC/IMC Meet Cathal Doyle smashed his 1500 pb with a 3.56.93 run to 8th place in the a race. In the B race Eoin Taggart ran 4.03.28. There was a good season`s opener from Mark McDonald in the 800 1.56.80, young Craig Giles was close to his pb with a 1.57.65. Eleanor Alexander continues to race to fitness recording a time of 2.15.15 in 6th place in the women`s A race. In the sprints Paul Whelan was 6th in the 100 A (11.69) and Stuart Roche 4th in the B race (11.74).
