Clonliffe master athlete extraordinaire Snezana Bechtina has in the last hour won World Masters W35 200 bronze at the World Master`s Track and Field championships in Malaga, Spain.
Snezana ran a time of 26.23 in this evening`s final, having earlier today won her semi in 25.92. On Friday she won her heat in 26.15. The current National W35 Champion over 100 and 200 adds World Bronze to her European Indoor 400 gold won earlier this year in Madrid.
Also competing at the championships was Thomas Moran in the M40, who ran 12.04 in his 100 heat on Wednesday but didn`t progress and 25.07 in his 200 today, again not enough to progress.
