Scullion wins Clonliffe battle in Fingal 10k plus more

The latest race in the Dublin Marathon Race series The Fingal 10k took place in Swords this morning. The race was dominated by Clonliffe athletes with four athletes in the top 10. In the battle for the win Stephen Scullion came out on top winning in an impressive 30.14. 4th was Gary O`Hanlon 31.17, 5th defending champion Michael MacDiarmada 31.29, 6th Colm Rooney, who of course was 2nd in the Irish Runner 5, Colm recording a time of 31.45. In 11th place was Declan Power (32.39), 23rd Chris Muldoon 33.57, 27th Davy Byrne (34.22), 45th Ciaran McCarthy (35.31), 47th Mark Bermingham (35.42), 49th Anthony Malone (35.52). Others: Mo McCrohan 38.11, Pat Byrne (39.21), Colm McDonnell 39.40, Anthony O`Brien 39.44, back from South Africa Hans de Raeymaeker (39.53), Marie Byrne 40.12, Ronan McDermott 40.13, Mark Dowling 41.50, Kerri Page 41.54, Alison O`Sullivan 43.11, Sinead Duffy 46.33. Full results click: http://dublinmarathon.ie/results/

Meanwhile at last night`s (July 20th) Greystones 10k Johnny Bradley was 3rd in 38.01

Also on the roads over the weekend Sergiu Ciobanu won the City Fit Race series 10k race in Cork in 30.46.
