Gary O’Hanlon finished in a most credible 11th place in the IAU 50k World Championships in the heat of Doha today. Gary recorded a time of 3.07.50. His average time for each 5k lap was 18.47 with a fastest lap of 17.23.
Also on the 5th and closer to home in a pretty dreadful conditions Brian Flanagan was 13th (15.41) in the Jingle Bells 5k in the Phoenix Park with Tom Sherlock 26th (16.29).
