Young Cathal Doyle, more noted as a distance runner, ran an excellent gun to flag 800 PB at the Dublin Graded Meet in Irishtown last night. Cathal hit the front from the starters gun and scorched around the Irishtown track in 1.56.54 to win the second A race. In the B race running his first ever track race was Shaun Conaghan making a winning debut in 2.03.34.
