The St. Aidans CBS annual awards night took place tonight in St. Aidans Whitehall. It was a special night for the senior boys cross country team, all of who are Clonliffe Harriers, as they were honoured by their school for their achievementĀ of successfully defending the All Ireland Senior Schools Title, the first time this has been achieved for some 26 years.
The boys All Ireland gold medals were presented by Clonliffe Vice Captain and Assistant Junior Coach Conor McGuinness.
The nominees for the St. Aidans Athlete of the year, which is sponsored by Clonliffe HarriersĀ all came from the team. The Athlete of the year was a very popular Adam O`Brien who was presented with the Brother Clarke Memorial Cup by Club Captain and Coach to the junior team Joe Cooper.
