It was inevitable really. With the country set to remain in level 5 restrictions until at least March 5th, Athletics Ireland today announced the cancellation of the National Senior Indoor Championships scheduled for February 20th/21st. One would assume that a similar fate awaits the 2020 National Cross Country Championships scheduled for March. No announcement yet, but watch this space.
