Mick Kearney, Race Director Clonliffe 2: Next Wednesday 25th September 2019 at 7pm members of Clonliffe Harriers will be visiting the Gravediggers in Glasnevin. The purpose of the visit is to acknowledge the continued support of the Kavanagh Family for the Clonliffe 2 Mile. The Kavanagh Family have been sponsoring this race since 1986.
Clonliffe Harriers has an even longer association with the Kavanagh family. As far back as 1908 the club availed of changing rooms over the Gravediggers when its headquarters were located at the Old Gate beside Glasnevin Cemetery.
The Gravediggers today provides award winning grub and refreshments which are eagerly anticipated now that a busy and successful domestic track season has ended.
All are invited to come along for and enjoyable and relaxing evening.
