Clonliffe ready for Euro Clubs Cross Country

The best of luck to our athletes who will be competing in foreign shores this weekend. The senior men’s cross country team compete at European clubs cross country championships in Castillon, Spain. Clonliffe qualify as national champions and will face some of the best clubs in Europe. There is a strong Clonliffe team travelling to the championships, the preparations have gone well and the team are confident of a good showing.

The starting four on Sunday are: Efrem Gidey, Ian Guiden, Jayme Rossiter and Sean O’Leary. The travelling reserve is Stephen Cashin, who, if not called up, will run in the open 5K race immediately after the men’s senior race. The European clubs will be live streamed. For stream: Click HERE
