Next week sees the club Christmas Cake races in Santry. Tuesday night December 16th the juvenile athletes have their cake races on the track. There will be races for the 3 groups followed by their Christmas party. Then on Thursday the 18th the club senior cake races over 5k on the road from the Stadium/Northwood and back. The women`s race will have a 7.30pm start, registration at 7.00pm with the men starting at 8.00pm. Athletes must wear a bright (white, yellow or orange) top. To assist with handicapping athletes wishing to run are asked to text the club captains in advance with their name. Ladies text Pamela on 0861503015, men text Joe on 0872256004. As always following the race on Thursday athletes are asked to stay for the prize giving and a few sociables (leave the car at home). This year will also see for the first time the Athletes of the Year presentations on Cake Race night, plus the special Christmas Lotto Draw.
