The Clonliffe club Cake Races take place next week. On Tuesday the 20th the Juveniles will have their Cake Races on the track in the Stadium at the usual training time while the senior races will be on Thursday the 22nd starting on the track and then doing the Northwood loop.
Following the presentation of prizes for the senior races the Athletes of the Year awards will take place. In addition to presentations to the winning athletes the club will make presentations to our 2016 Club Record outdoor breakers (Rory Gunning and Keith Marks) and 2016 National Champions (Indoor: Ian Rogers & Andrew Heney, Outdoor: Rory Gunning ,Brian Greegan, Brian MacMahon, Sergiu Ciobanu) and then a special presentation of Honorary Life Membership to Rio Paralympian Greta Streimikyte.
