Advance warning of upcoming cross country events: On Sunday November 3rd Clonliffe Harriers will host the Dublin (uneven ages) Juvenile Championships along with the Dublin Junior and Senior Championships.
Help is needed on the day for course building and also course marshalling. It is particularly important that people make themselves available now as many of the people who will be course building will not be in a position to marshal on the day for the simple reason that they will be busy looking after the various athletes whom they coach. These dedicated people need the assistance of other club members on November 3rd.
Course builders will be needed from 8 a.m. and on course marshals will be needed from approximately 10.30 a.m. If available for either duty please email noel.guiden@behans.ie ASAP. As usual please do not assume that others will respond. If you are reading this please put yourself forward now.
Secondly advance notice of the upcoming club Cross Country Championships. These Championships will take place in Santry Demesne Park on Saturday November 9th with the juvenile Cross Country Championships from 11 a.m. and the Senior/Junior from 12 a.m. The latter Championship being run in conjunction with the Grand Prix Irwin Cup over 6,000m, (more on that in the week leading up to the race).
