A great day`s athletics at the Tallaght Stadium today for the final round of the Dublin Juvenile League with three overall wins by Clonliffe athletes lead with excellent 500m win in the U/13 girls by Ella Brown, Ella also was 2nd in the 60H and 6th in the shot. Wins were also recorded by Cian Bolger with another great display of front running over 3 laps in the U/14 boys 1200 and once again by Jonathan Fitzsimons in the U/10s 300.
Overall there were several wins in heats, including a sprints win by Rebecca Fitzsimons, however, with races decided on times the three Clonliffe winners were as above. There were 2nd place finishes recorded by Michael Coleman in U/11 60m and 400m, 2nd for Amy Hodson in the U/13 500m and 3rd places by Cillian Forrester in the U/13 500m and 80m, Sally Sumola U/11 long jump, Ella Cooley U/12 turbo javelin and Sam Rolly U/12 80m. A busy morning/afternoon for a lot of the athletes but a special word of praise for the busiest of all Lauren Carr: U/14 3rd in 1200, 3rd high jump, 5th 80H, 5th javelin and 6th 100, phew!!

Next up for Juveniles is team competition next Saturday for the U/9s to U/11s and then the Dublin Championships on Friday June 6th in Santry, Saturday June 7th Tallaght and Sunday June 7th Tallaght.
