Come and run a Goal Mile in Santry on Christmas Eve

The Goal Mile returns to the Morton Stadium on December 24th, Christmas Eve. This event is being run by Clonliffe Harriers and Morton Stadium. There will be a series of Mile Race and Fun Runs for a 90 minute period from 10.30am until noon to support a very worthy charity. Simply come along put your name on the start sheet, make a donation and run a mile, your support can make all the difference to someone`s life.

The Goal Mile in Morton Stadium will start at 10.30am, registration open from 10.00am. Runners of every level, from the competitive athlete to the social runner or jogger or indeed if you only want to walk a mile on the iconic Morton track, are invited to come along and support Goal. First Mile at 10.30 with a Mile race every 15 minutes. For athletes looking to run at competitive Mile Race the final Mile at high noon will be for athletes looking to run 5 minutes or faster.

The GOAL Mile gives friends, family and neighbours the chance to simply run or walk a Mile, and make a donation to GOAL. The popular fundraiser has grown and grown over the years, and is now an integral part of the Christmas period for thousands of people. Last year, GOAL Miles took place in 100 locations around Ireland and raised in excess of €158,000 for GOAL’s programmes in the developing world.
GOAL could not have done this without those who took part in and, in particular, those who organised Miles up and down the country. Your continued support is hugely appreciated as it helps GOAL to make a real difference in the 13 countries where we work.
Please do what you can to help make this year’s GOAL Mile the biggest yet!
