Clonliffe athletes Brian Gregan, the European U/23 400m silver medallist from 2011 and Olympic bound Mark Kenneally have both been selected by Athletics Ireland to compete in the European Track and Field Championships in Helsinki which runs from the 27th of June until the 1st of July. Brian Gregan has been selected in the 400m, round 1 will be on the 27th of June at 1.35 p.m. local time, the semi-finals take place on the 28th of June. Brian has also been named in the 4 x 400m relay squad. Mark Kenneally is selected to run in the 10,000m which of course is a straight final and takes place on the 30th of June at 9 p.m. local time.
