Jasmin Hales adds Dublin 400 bronze to her collection

The Dublin Juvenile Indoors moved to Tallaght for today`s 4th day of the championships. The menu today consisted of the 400s for the older ages groups plus relays. Jasmin Hales had a very good run in the U/18 girls 400 to place 3rd and add bronze to the 200 silver she collected last weekend. Kate Hession placed 6th in the same final.

The club`s younger athletes where in relay action, most of the older age groups being heavily committed to cross country having to give today a miss. There was a great turn out of  young Harriers with teams in virtually all races putting in very strong performances. Great runs from the U/11 boys to take silver and from the U/10s to take bronze. The U/13 girls battled through heats and semis to get to their final and placed a fighting 5th. 5th place also for the U/14 girls and 7th for the U/14 boys in their finals. The U/15 girls where just out of the medals in 4th place only inches off 3rd. Well done to all.

Tomorrow it`s back to Santry for the final day, finals for 500m to 800m, plus field events is the order of the day from 12.30.
