The Dublin Championships in a number of events were held in conjunction with tonight`s Dublin Graded Meet in Irishtown. Top of the heap from Clonliffe Harriers was Kris Valters who won the Dublin 800m title in a time of 1.55.48. A Dublin title also for Tomas Rauktys in the shot putt with a best of 16.17m. Orna McGinley was 2nd in the women`s 800 in 2.20.04 to DSD`s Siofra Clerigh Buttner. In the women`s 400 Snezana Bechtina was 4th (59.56) and in the graded 800s Philip O`Doherty ran 2.15.30 and George Maybury ran 2.36.43.
Next graded meet is in Santry on June 20th when 200m, 1500m, 3,000m, javelin, hammer, triple and high jumps are on the menu.
