Leinster awards for Clonliffe

Athletics Leinster have honoured Clonliffe Harriers athletes and the club with prestigious Leinster Star awards which will be presented at the Leinster indoor track and field championships this Saturday.

Rolus Olusa has been awarded the Leinster star for the best athlete in Dublin. Rolus enjoyed another stellar year, highlights included National Decathlon Silver, National Pole Vault bronze, National indoor 60 Hurdles bronze and Leinster Indoor Heptathlon gold. In addition Rolus was a key member of the Clonliffe Harriers National indoor Team that took gold in both 2023 and 2024, and silver outdoors in 2023.

Master athlete extraordinaire Edel Maguire is the recipient of the outstanding performance award for a master athlete. Edel has had an unbelievable year winning national title after national title and setting numerous National Masters records in the process, she is the European Masters W60 high jump champion, she won 4 silver medals at those Championships and at the World Indoor Masters championships in Torun she was crowned world champion in the high jump and also took home silver and bronze medals.

For the 2nd successive year Clonliffe Harriers has been awarded the best Leinster track and field club. Many congratulations to our athletes, coaches and captains.
