BMC Meet at the historic Iffley Road in Oxford Saturday night where Mark McDonald recorded a time of 1.53.36 placing 3rd in his 800. Eoin Pierce ran a 4.16.19 mile as he edges towards full fitness again. Also at last night`s big meet in Heusden, Belgium, Declan Murray won his 800 race in the pre program in 1.47.66.
In Mullingar today Michael MacDiarmada ran 53.23 finishing runner upĀ in the 10 Mile.
This morning the Fingal 10k took place, where Mark Kenneally ran an excellent race finishing 2nd 29.48. Others Ernie Ramsey 36.21 and David Brady 37.11.
Finally round 2 of the league in Morton Stadium where both men`s and women`s teams put on great displays looking like both topped the table. Highlights: Brian Gregan`s super 45.98 400 win, Snezana Bechtina`s sprints double and 4 x 400 wins for both teams.
