Scullion continues London preparations down under plus more

Stephen Scullion, who has been quietly preparing for April`s London Marathon over the past six months or so, put in a good performance in a 10 KM road race in Australia yesterday running a confidence boosting 29.58.

Closer to home Declan Power took 2nd place (in 34m25) in Mount Juliet 10k  – one of the country’s tougher 10k’s – yesterday through the pleasant grounds of Mount Juliet demesne, and the hilly country roads around the Ballylinch and Norelands Stud farms.
Back overseas last weekend, Barbara Sanchez posted another win, taking victory in the “Les Foulées de Vincennes 10km” in east Paris, in a time of 34m37.
