The school`s cross country season continued today with the All Ireland CBS Championships held in St. Anne`s park, Raheny. There were nearly a dozen and a half Clonliffe lads in action, mainly in the red and white of St. Aidans CBS.
A good day for the Whitehall School saw the junior team place 2nd with Clonliffe athletes Daniel Lacey 6th and Jordan Byrne 10th. In the Inter race Sean Carrig had a very good outing finishing in 2nd place with Joseph Hession 6th, Sean O`Leary 7th, Alex Hogan 11th, Fintan McManus 13th, Shane Merrigan 18th, Keith Hodson 20th, Kevin McKenna 21st and Greg Hossenny 34th, the inter team winning gold. A good run also in this race for track specialist Matthew Jenkinson 16th.
Gold also for the st. Aidans seniors: Adam O`Brien 3rd, Brian Flanagan 4th, Niall Norman 7th, Ross Kearney 9th and Alex Gibbons 10th.
