St. Aidan’s secure 8th place in World Schools Finals

News from Kenya: The boys from St. Aidan’s celebrated on Sunday evening after an incredible 8th place finish at the ISF World Cross Country in Nairobi, Kenya.
It was an incredible achievement considering they were missing three key runners, Rory Quill, Seán Henry and Melvin Binoy.
The team was led home by Tom Breslin (41st), followed by Devan Morrisey (84), Jack McDonnell (87), Tadgh O Brien (97) and Alister Anith (101).
A 13th place finish was secured, however once the National Teams were removed from the standings 8th place was awarded to the Whitehall men.

The team also enjoyed a trip to Irish Ambassadors Residence, a safari and all of the cultural events laid on by the wonderful hosts.
The trip of a lifetime. They are now planning a return visit to the 2026 edition with Qatar the favourites to host.
