Club members and parents it’s time to stand up and be counted. Clonliffe will host over the coming weeks two major schools cross country events. Wednesday Feb 12th the Leinster Schools and Saturday March 7th (for the first time) the All Ireland schools in Santry.
These are two huge events and really need you the club members to say: “Yes, I’ll be there”. We simply cannot expect to let the burden rest with the usual few. We are appealing to you now, this weekend to text 0879599888 with your name and which event, maybe even both, you can help out with. Course builders needed both days from 8.00am onwards. Officials/stewards needed both days from 11.00am until 3.00pm. Please don’t just leave it to others. We are a club with 500 members, yet continually there are the same 20 at everything. So you 480 please step forward. Nil desperandum!
