The Brother at your side Schools Invitational Cross Country is ready to go. On Wednesday, October 8th, some 1500 young athletes will gather for the annual schools race, the first major event of the school`s cross country calendar. As always there is a packed schedule of races getting underway at 12.30 with the girls primary school race with an entry of close to 200 running over 1,000m followed by the primary boys with a similar entry.
The secondary school`s programme will start at 1.00pm with races for minor, junior, inter and senior. In the battle for Best Overall School for the Lar Byrne Shield schools to look out for include St. Aidans CBS, Col. Isogain, St. Fintan`s Sutton, from Belfast St. Malachys, a schools that dominated this event in it`s early years and Belvedere College.

Schools participating please ensure that one member of your school comes to check in located in the hall in the Clonliffe Harriers clubhouse. Check in will be open from 11.30 until 12.30 p.m. Please note that you must check in here to obtain your school numbers and to pay your schools entry fee.
Individuals may enter on the day, again individuals must register and pay their entry fee (€ 3.00) in the hall of the Clonliffe Harriers Clubhouse.
