Weekend round up: Flynner, Guiden and Scullion win

At the Tara 5k on Friday evening David Flynn continued on his winning ways making it three wins in three on three successive weekends 15.07. Making it a Clonliffe one two was Efrem Gidey 15.22. Also in this race Emma Cooper 20.13 for 6th woman and 1st W40.

Saturday Ian Guiden continued his comeback from injury taking in a low key race in St.Annes Park winning the Bull Run 4 mile solo in 20.12 a margin of some 3 minutes.

Sunday’s big road race was The Frank Duffy 10 mile in the Dublin Marathon Race Series in Swords. There was a big Clonliffe presence lead home by race winner Stephen Scullion in a handy 49.19. Other Clonliffe included David Mullen 61.55, Dermot Faughnan 62.22, David Brady 63.24, Philip O`Doherty 63.36, Stephen Tracey 64.03, Thomas Frayne 64.09, Wayne Walker 64.38.
