Weekend Round up: Flynner at NCAA plus BHAA in Santry

Dave Flynn ran his final cross country race for Arkansas today. The NCAA final in horrendous conditions, bitterly cold and a gale force wind. Flynner did not go as well as he would have expected today finishing in 166th place in a world class field. Flynners time for the 10,000 was 31.55.7. The Razorbacks placed 12th.

Meanwhile Santry Demesne was in use once again today for the Irish Life BHAA 6,000m Cross Country. There were a number of Clonliffe athletes running at HQ including 6th Declan Fahy 20.09, 13th Tom Sherlock 20.48, 29th Anthony Malone 21.45, 36th Niall Sherlock 22.35.

Also on Saturday Fionnula Doherty finished 69th in the Clontarf Half Marathon in 1.31.16.
