Welcome comebacks at graded

Great to report on some excellent performances at tonight’s graded meet in Tallaght including a few excellent come backs. Rory Gunning in his first outing in some time won the javelin with a 61.71m throw. The womens 800 saw a win from another athlete making a comeback Eleaner Alexander 1st in B2 in 2.22.38.

In the Dublin juvenile 800 championships run in conjunction with the graded Katie Halpin ran 2.31.48 finishing (unofficially) 3rd U/17. Manny Okaye ran 2.08.49.

Niall Sherlock won the C 1 race in 2.13.23. Eoghan Murphy was 4th in grade B 2.08.49. Eoin Taggart had a good run in the 3000 A 4th in 8.48.28, Stephen Cashin was 7th (9.11.72). Tom Sherlock was 7th in the 3000 B 9.13.32.

In the sprints Lauren Carr was 2nd in the 200 (25.7), with another athlete just back home Emer Treacy 5th (28.9).
