The Clonliffe novice women`s team for Sunday`s Dublin Championship in St. Anne`s, Raheny is lead by Roisin Leahy. Roisin has been the top Clonliffe women`s junior athlete for a number of years and exits the junior ranks at the end of the year. Sunday`s novice race gives her the idea stepping stone towards the senior ranks. Roisin heads a team that includes the vastly experienced Sinead Hartnett and Bernadette Kiernan. Bernadette has made a smooth transition from new comer to club champion is a matter of six months, she was the star of the meet and train spring road race series clocking up a hat trick of wins and last Saturday won the club cross country senior title.
