After today`s round 2 of the league the question remains: Have Clonliffe done enough to make the final? The answer is now revealed as a big YES. Today at Athlone IT 2nd place seemed to be the order of the day for the men with three 2nd place finishes: Andri Minehan in the high jump (1.90), Andriu Jenkinson in the 1500 (4.10.77) and Kris Valters in the 400 (50.93). Isreal Ibeanu was 6th in the 200 and 5th also in the triple jump for Antino Anujar (12.6).
Of the women Snezana Bechtina was 1st in the triple jump with a best of 10.18 and a fine 3rd in the 200 25.7. Emer O`Brien was 2nd in the 1500 in 4.36.59. Emma Kelly was DQ`d in the 400.
The men continue to lead on 165 points while the women have moved up the table to 4th on 59 points, both through to the Indoor League final
