The Irish Distance Medley Relay team put in a valiant performance at the Armory in New York City late on Saturday finshing in 2nd place behind the crack USA squad. The team run under the existing World Record recording a time of 9.25.37. Clonliffe men Declan Murray and Brian Gregan ran the opening legs with the New Jersey based Murray running the opening 1200 handing over in 3rd place to Brian Gregan who held the Irish position before passing onto Mark English (UCD) and then to Leevale`s Ciaran O`Lionard . Another interesting fact is that all 4 are 2014 Morton Gamers who all being well will compete in the 2015 Morton Games on July 24th.

Also Stateside over night Aaron Hanlon was 14th in his 3000 indoor race at the 2015 BU John Thomas Terrier Classic in Boston in 8.34.21.
