Waste not want not! As members are aware a decision was made in the interests of the health and safety of club members to cancel this morning’s Club Cake Race, well this evening ladies Captain Jenny Johnston and Sue Cullen donated the prizes for the race, beautiful Christmas Cakes, to St. Michael’s House Child & Adult Services. Also in honour of Joe Cooper a substantial sum of money, which was in lieu of entry fees to the cake race, has been collected to date to be donated to The Irish Hospice Foundation. Any club member wishing to make a donation can do so on the return to club training in January by putting whatever sum you like into an envelop and giving it to Jenny or Noel Guiden.
