One of the highlights of the club year takes place on Sunday of next week, the 13th of May. The annual Clonliffe Track and Field club championships. Over recent years this day has brought the whole club together with championships for all sectors of the club – juvenile, senior men and women and masters. A day of relaxed competition and in fact a day which always throws up a top class race or two, traditionally this has been the men’s 800. The action gets underway with the juvenile competition from 2.30 p.m. with the seniors from 3.30pm.
