Pamela Cooper reports: Sunday 2nd December was Meet & Train Cross-Country Race No2 on in Fingallians GAA Club. The Meet & Train Cross-Country has a five race cross-Country season and the Clonliffe Ladies where there in Fighting Force as usual.
On the flat & fast 2mile course the race hosted approximately 90 athletes 9 of which wore the Black & Amber of Clonliffe Harriers. Coming home first in 12 position was Bernadette Kiernan followed by Emma Kelly 32nd, Marie O’Connell 35th , Niamh Kiely 41st , Sheila Jones 42nd Aisling Andrews 49th, Yvonne McDonagh 50th , Danielle Townsend 52nd , Mandy McNamee 66th and Ciara Faherty 71st.
Well done to all the ladies but especially to Bernadette, Aisling & Niamh as this was their first ever Cross-Country Race. The remaining 3 races will take place in the New Year.
