Although from tomorrow there is an easing of Covid-19 restrictions we are still in an entirely different place as a society, community and sport. There are going to be no races or events to report on for several months so that’s where we as Clonliffe Harriers club members come in.
The 60 Seconds with a Harrier series has been really well received thanks to you all. The goal of 60 by 60 has been achieved and we will appear for your reading pleasure one a day until the end of the month. Indeed in excess of 60 are in so in the best Netflix tradition season 2 is already in production and will air in June! The other thing we plan to run is a series entitled “Monday Memories with…”. So again it’s over to you. Any memories related to Clonliffe Harriers you like to share? Maybe a particular period of time you were involved, maybe a piece on a noteable (or infamous!) fellow Harrier, maybe the best race you ever saw, attended or took part in (Clonliffe related), maybe a piece on an interesting part of the club’s history….whatever you like. The plan is to run this series starting on Monday June 1st. So all you need to do is put together your piece and e mail it to clonliffeharriersac@gmail.com.
