Covid 19: Hold firm for a little longer

Last night’s announcement by Micheal Martin gave some degree of clarity on plans for a return of our sport. From April 12th the 5k restriction is removed and will allow travel within one’s county. This means that individual training options and exercise for two can be freshened up by thankfully expanding the places you can train/exercise in to anywhere within the county.

From April 19th training for elite/high performance athletes can resume.

From April 26th club group outdoor training in pods of 15 for underage athletes can recommence.

No clarity as of yet on when adult training can resume (once we know we will let you know).

In the meantime we continue to advise all club members to adhere to Government/HSE Covid 19 guidelines. There is light ahead and hopefully we are all back training in Santry sooner rather than later.
