May 21, 2007 [Noel Guiden] Alistair Cragg`s good form continues. Fresh on his 10,000M Irish record comes the news of his 1500M PB of 3.36.18 set in the United States yesterday. Cragg took a massive 3 seconds off his existing PB in finishing second to New Zeland`s Nick Willis (3.35.85) in the Adidas Track Classic at the California State University track in Carson. Third was Rob Myers USA (3.36.49). Cragg`s time puts him 8th on the Irish all time list and 2nd on the Clonliffe all time list behind Niall Bruton`s 12 year old club record of 3.35.67.His time is also a World Championship and Olympic qualifying time giving Cragg a clean sweep of qualifying time 1500, 5,000 and 10,000.
