Having broken Niall Bruton’s 1997 club indoor 1500 record a week or so ago Cathal Doyle has just gone even faster setting a new PB and of course club record of 3.39.10 at the Belgrade indoor meet this evening. Cathal, suitably attired in his club vest, finished in 4th place, after a blistering finish saw him move from 6th and almost grab 3rd place. The race winner was the Morton mile 2023 champion Ryan Mphahlele (RSA) 3.37.39.
