With 12 races completed and just 4 races left to run in the 2016 Grand Prix series, it is very tight at the top of the leaderboard with Dave Brady and Deirdre Fitzsimons joint leaders. The top 25 are listed below with the top 10 being separated by a meagre 33 points. Only 10 races count out of the 16, so it is still anybody’s guess where the winner might come from. With 40 points for a win, 39 for second, 38 for third etc, there are plenty of athletes still in with a chance of securing the top prize. The scores below are not adjusted to take account of the top ten scores.
Next race is the Pat Bonass sponsored 10,000m, on Thursday 15th September at 8.00 on the track. This race is also the 10,000m club championship.
