Gregan`s flying 400 track highlight

On a day of action on the track at home and away the stand out performer was undoubtedly Brian Gregan`s 400 in Geneva early today. A win in another season`s best, a brilliant 45.75 as he home`s in on 45.50, the World championships QT. Also competing in Geneva was Luke Lennon-Ford, 47.18 for 400 and 21.67 for 200.

At the Northern Ireland Championships Timmy Crowe was 2nd in the 400H in 54.62. Leo Morgan was 5th in the 100 final (10.96).

Also today the GV Ryan Meet took place in a windy Irishtown Stadium with good Clonliffe representation. In the 3000 Ian Guiden continued his comeback with a 5th place finish in 8.33.00, Cathal Doyle was 9th (8.41.96), Adam O`Brien 13th (8.55.44) and Alex Gibbons 24th (9.34.85). Conor Healy ran 3.57.08 in the1500 placing 7th. In the 800 B Mark McDonald ran 1.57.74, Shaun Conaghan in the C race ran 2.03.59, Greta Streimkyte was 5th in the 800B in 2.29.70 and Emma Kelly 4th in the 200 (27.71).

On the roads today at the Patrick Bell 5k in Bohemeen Sean Doran was 4th (16.15) and Joseph Cooper 25th (17.43)
