Despite running a superb PB in this morning`s Rotherdam Marathon there was heart break for Clonliffe`s Sergiu Ciobanu. His time of 2:15.25 was 25 seconds outside of the Olympic A qualifying standard. It really is a great pity as Sergiu has put everything into his quest to qualify for these Olympics and to come so agonisingly close. 25 seconds, a second per mile.
